Qiao Chu (Bernice) Qi, MD, MPH, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with Keck Medicine of USC who specializes in palliative care.
After receiving a master’s degree in public health from Yale University, Dr. Qi went on to earn her medical doctorate from Cornell University in New York, NY. An internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed. Dr. Qi completed her training with a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center (now NYU Langone Health).
Dr. Qi serves as a clinical assistant professor for the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Department of Medicine. Her research focuses on strategies to implement effective palliative-care practices in different health care environments and to expand equitable access to these services.
